據(jù)國外媒體報(bào)道，在德國慕尼黑附近的Unterschleissheim地區(qū)，寶馬已經(jīng)單獨(dú)建立了一個(gè)全新的自動駕駛研發(fā)中心及工廠，幫助公司開發(fā)高度自動駕駛系統(tǒng)。
According to foreign media reports, in Munich, Germany near Unterschleissheim region, BMW alone had established a new automated driving r&d center and factory, to help companies to develop highly automated driving system.

Klaus Frhlich, a member of the BMW group management committee, which is responsible for the development, said: "this is very important because autonomous driving will change the future of the auto industry. Our goal is to build pilot projects in the factory where BMW will build the cornerstone of autonomous driving technology. The new plant will merge with its research and development office in mountain view, calif., to help BMW lay the groundwork for autonomous driving. Both offices and factories will be tested on the ground and in the simulation system, and BMW has already launched three self-driving test vehicles in the United States.

These test vehicles collect data as they test, helping automakers analyze more scenarios. By 2018, BMW plans to invest 40 test cars in the United States, and the total number of test vehicles worldwide will reach 80.
